33 minute run

It was so hot today so I was glad that I ran at 8pm. I used the mp3 player which was good. A nice change to the run. Although I think it did make me run faster at firs so at about 20 minutes I wasn't sure I was going to make it. But then at close to 30 minutes I started to feel strong again. I had to stop 5 minutes into the run to stretch the arch in my foot and my calf. The stretching hurt but once I stretched the running felt so much better. I really enjoy the feeling of being tired and exerting energy right now. I feel like I'm accomplishing something.

Yes. I've got to watch the tempo on the songs I select too. One of the best pace songs for me is "Can't Let Go" by Lucinda Williams. I also like "Next Episode" - Dr Dre as my out the door song, followed by "New Slang" - the Shins. I can't listen to them anymore without wanting to run.

Right now my legs and knees are sore and I only walked today.

My favorite songs for running are Golddigger by Kanye West, "girl" by beck and "unwritten" by natasha bedingfield. Music is great! Very motivating

You know I love the Kanye. I just ran to that - Jesus walks is good too. It makes me feel like Jake Gyllenhall (or whatever). I'll download the beck and natasha today. Thanks for the tip.

I'm not sure if you'll like Natasha Bedingfield...she's kind of a lauren hill knock off.
